The Fall Guy, Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s meta action-comedy, just got a new trailer that has… well… everything.
Appropriately titled the “Everything” trailer, the video, which popped up ahead of Super Bowl LVIII, does its best to convince viewers that the upcoming Universal flick has anything anyone could ever want. From romance to vehicular combat to aliens to swords to butt slaps, and even Aaron Taylor-Johnson dramatically saying “minerals,” The Fall Guy clearly has a lot in store.
The Fall Guy comes from David Leitch, a real-life stuntman and the director of action films like Bullet Train and Deadpool 2. It undeniably shares a lot in common with his previous work, but this time, the director is looking to create something that also serves as a love letter to those who make movies come to life.
“He’s a stuntman, and like everyone in the stunt community, he gets blown up, shot, crashed, thrown through windows and dropped from the highest of heights, all for our entertainment,” an official description says. “And now, fresh off an almost career-ending accident, this working-class hero has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right?”
If you’re looking for a clearer look at what The Fall Guy aims to offer, be sure to check out its November trailer, which revealed three minutes of more explosive action. The Fall Guy comes to theaters on May 3, 2024.
